Ty Montgomery is now listed as a running back in some fantasy leagues, including ESPN and Draft Kings. Truth is, he has more value as a wide receiver. Season long players should have more flexibility, pardon the pun, with a RB and Flex positions.  It’s in the lean weeks of the middle of the season when bye weeks and injuries thin rosters that a player like Ty Montgomery has value. It will be very telling this week to see if newly acquired Knile Davis becomes a bell-cow. FantasyScout believes that the Packers will adopt a Belichickian like approach to the backfield and use a hybrid that will lean heavily on Montgomery, giving him an RB2 floor and RB1 upside, dependent on matchup. He’s a must add in any league where he’s still available.
